Easy On The Eyes

A Typewriter is so simple. It sits in an office, on a desk, on a table, on the floor and never gets noticed. Its un-disturbing and un-distracting, as at times a gets the work done.  A typewriter is easy on the eyes.
These images were shot for a 3D effect shoot. Showing how the subject separates from the background with deep shadows to show the subjects 3D. The image gives off a very still life feel and relaxes the viewer. The message throughout the image is sort of "there's not much to look at, but there's plenty to see". As yes it is just a typewriter but the mechanics of this piece of machinery lead us to the technology we have today.

Ty

Lighting Folio

These are some portraits I did for a mate. There more formal looking one I used for a lighting folio, for a more Rambrant look. The other is back lit for so the light will reflect off his back and a give sort of bowing circle or ring of light beind him. Both shots were taken with a 35mm D90 Nikon. Heaps of thanks to Ty for modelling.

Some Architecture

Lighting

Folio B

These are some architecture shots I used for a lighting folio and themed folio. They were taken with a medium format on some 120mm fuji film, developed in the darkroom, scanned and printed at the lab.

Pain

This shoot was on a theme of 'PAIN'. It show's emotion of how people feel when going through pain, experiancing pain/torture, and people may look like being told something painful. The rough cut boarders add to the experiance of viewing the images and the b+w brings a more traditional film feel to the contrast.
