The Seiko Watch was a product image shot with a 35mm DSLR. This type of shot is and example of what a magazine would publish for an advertisement. The black negative space shows where any writing or publications would go.
Why shooting the watch, to avoid major reflections in the silver and glass face and to soften the light even more, I placed the watch underwater. This way I was able to get good separation between the face, band and imprints on the Seiko watch.
